Outreach from the Kossoye Development Program (KDP) and University of Gondar to universities is now part of KDP’s diffusion strategy to promote the best concepts and practices of household nutrition gardening. On February 23-24, 8 universities visited the University of Gondar for a series of workshops with presentations, demonstrations, discussion, and action plans. Many local workshops by the other universities will take place in May 2018. These gatherings will help establish household nutrition gardening as an effective food supply strategy in many more communities. Household nutrition gardens seldom provide all the food a family needs, but they provide essential foods such as vitamin A-rich dark green vegetables. The AllPeopleBeHappy foundation renewed the Project Grant of $10,000 to KDP this month, marking 10 years of continual support.
