A Project Grant of $10,000 was awarded to myAgro in early 2013 to launch a permanent loan fund to provide innovative labor loans to small scale farmers in southern Mali. The funds are being used to match savings and to provide small loans to help 500 farmers purchase microdosing seeding machines in order to take a large step away from low-yield manual labor subsistence farming toward better high-yield modern farming. Since the loans are being repaid, the one-time grant from AllPeopleBeHappy foundation is being recycled to serve more farmers each year – in 5 years, the $10,000 grant is projected to help support over 1,400 small scale farmers and 16,800 children.
