Blog #31: Indego Africa

Indego Africa is a recipient of a 2014-2016 AllPeopleBeHappy Challenge Grant, a 3-year $90,000 grant to expand its current artisan training program from the country of Rwanda to another nation in Africa.  Since receiving the first-year installment of the grant, Indego Africa has chosen Ghana as the country for its expansion, and is looking into opening an office in the Kumasi area in the Ashanti region.  Currently, Indego Africa is rolling out its Leadership Academy in Rwanda, and will duplicate this effort in Ghana.  Timeline for the registration in Ghana is as yet uncertain, with the projected launch date for the Ghana organization to be in mid 2015.
