Little Sisters Fund is an organization in Nepal that supports education for girls. The AllPeopleBeHappy project grant, initiated in March, 2015, is for the training of primary school teachers, titled Primary Educator Training (PET). In the first six months of 2016, the Little Sisters Fund conducted 18 training sessions for 318 teachers from 22 schools, as well as 12 follow-up visits to monitor teachers’ progress and provide ongoing feedback.
A second accomplishment of 2016 thus far has been more fully rolling out “PET Revive”, the condensed training program developed at the end of 2015 to bring to schools that had previously completed the full training program but where a number of teachers had left the school. They have conducted the “Revive” training at four schools, and the reception so far has been very positive.
